AI Integration · Aria Studio
AI that earns its keep.
There's a lot of noise about AI right now. Most of it is either breathless hype or vague enough to be useless. I build AI tools that target the work you keep doing by hand. And if it won't genuinely move the needle for your business, I'll tell you that, and we won't build it.
Standalone or built into a new website or app. No new site required.
What AI integration actually means
Forget "transformation." Think specific tools doing specific jobs.
For a small NZ business, AI integration means answering the questions you answer every day, qualifying enquiries before they reach you, following up on quotes you'd otherwise forget, and surfacing the patterns buried in your job history.
None of it requires a data team. Most of it connects to systems you already use.
The skill isn't the technology. It's knowing which problems are worth solving and which aren't.
What I build
Tools that target the work you keep doing by hand.
We work out together what applies to your specific situation. These are the most common starting points.
AI chat assistant
Trained on your business and embedded in your site. Answers customer questions, qualifies leads, and handles enquiries at any hour, without you being in the loop. There's one running on this site right now.
Lead qualification
Every enquiry assessed and prioritised before it reaches you. The right leads get your attention; the rest get an honest, immediate response.
Business data insights
AI connected to your existing systems: job history, customer records, operational data. It surfaces the patterns and answers that are currently buried.
AI-assisted content
Service copy, product descriptions, and SEO content generated, refined, and kept current, without a copywriter on retainer.

The part nobody selling AI will tell you
What AI won't fix.
It won't fix a website that doesn't convert.
If the underlying site is the problem, a chatbot on top of it is lipstick. That's a build conversation, or sometimes just an audit.
It won't fix a follow-up problem you don't have.
If you get three enquiries a month, you don't need lead qualification. You need marketing. I'll tell you which problem you actually have.
Off-the-shelf is sometimes the right answer.
If a $50/month tool does the job, I'll say so. I don't need to sell you a build, the same logic that makes my audits paid and honest applies here.
Secure by design
Powerful tools need boundaries. Mine come with them.
AI tools are useful because they can read your data and take action. That's also exactly why they need practical safeguards. Everything I build is designed with least-privilege access, approval gates for important actions, and clear records so you can see what happened and why.
Clear boundaries
Every tool has explicit read, draft, and action limits. It only touches the data and systems it needs, nothing more.
You approve what matters
High-impact actions, like sending an email or changing a record, wait for a human yes. Routine work runs on its own.
Start small, expand on trust
First tools can run read-only or draft-only. Once you've seen how it behaves, we widen what it's allowed to do.
A visible trail
You can see what the AI did, when, and why. No black box running unsupervised inside your business.
How it works
From "what's eating your time" to a tool that handles it.
Strategy call (free, 30 min)
What's eating your time, what systems you run, what's worth automating, and what isn't.
Scoped proposal
Specific tools, specific outcomes, fixed price. No guesswork, you'll know exactly what you're getting before committing.
Build and connect
Built into your site or alongside your existing systems. Tested with your real content and real scenarios.
Tune and maintain
Most AI tools need adjustment in the first month. The Care Plan ($300/month tier) covers ongoing management.
Investment
Quoted per project
The right setup depends on your systems and what you're trying to solve. Simple single-purpose tools sit well under what most people expect. We work out what's right for your situation in the strategy call, and you get a fixed price before anything is built.
AI Design Sprint
Paid discovery for businesses that know they want AI working for them but need the plan first. A discovery session, a map of where AI would genuinely help in your workflow, a recommended first tool, the security and approval controls it needs, and a fixed-price build estimate.
Yours to keep whether or not I build it. Quoted on enquiry.
Common questions
No. A chat assistant is one tool of several, and not always the right one. Lead qualification, automated follow-up, data insights, and content tooling are all separate things, each suited to a different problem. The starting point is the problem, not the tool.
No. AI tools can be built standalone and connected to your existing site and systems. If you're also rebuilding your website, AI gets built in from the start rather than bolted on, but a rebuild is never a prerequisite.
Usually, yes. Calendars, booking tools, email, customer records, accounting software, most modern systems can be connected. Part of the strategy call is working out what you run and what's practical to connect.
This is the right question to ask, and most providers gloss over it. Tools get tested against your real content before launch, tuned in the first month, and designed with guardrails, including human approval steps where the action matters. For anything customer-facing, you see how it behaves before your customers do.
It varies more than most services because the scope varies, from a single chat assistant to a connected set of tools across your operations. That's why it's quoted per project rather than off a menu. You'll get a fixed price after the strategy call, and if an off-the-shelf tool would do the job for $50 a month, I'll tell you that instead.
Not sure where AI fits?
Start with a Marketing Audit
