AI Training · Aria Studio
AI training that's about your work, not the technology.
If your team knows AI matters but doesn't know where to begin, that's exactly who this is for. A working session built around what your team actually does, not a generic tour of tools.
Half-day or full-day. In person (Wellington) or remote. Fixed price after a short scoping call.
The honest problem
Most teams haven't been shown where to begin.
They've heard the noise. Maybe someone opened ChatGPT once, asked it something, got a mediocre answer, and quietly went back to the old way of working. Meanwhile the pressure builds: competitors are talking about AI, leadership is asking about AI, and nobody on the team can say with confidence what it's actually for.
The training on offer doesn't help much. Most of it is a generic tour of tools: here's ChatGPT, here's an image generator, here are ten prompts to try. Interesting for an hour. Forgotten by Friday. None of it connected to the actual work your team does on Monday morning.
The gap isn't enthusiasm or intelligence. It's a starting point that's specific to your work.
What a session covers
Tailored to your team. Built around your work.
Every session is scoped to the actual work the team does. A session for an operations team covers admin, enquiries, and follow-up. A session for a policy or professional team covers drafting, summarising, and review discipline. No two sessions are identical, but they typically cover:
Where AI genuinely saves time
Mapped against your team's actual workflow, not a hypothetical one. The honest version includes the tasks where AI isn't worth it.
What not to use it for
Where AI is unreliable, where it's risky, and where the old way is still the right way. Knowing the limits builds more confidence than pretending there aren't any.
Simple guardrails
Privacy, accuracy, and review discipline: practical rules a team can actually follow, not a 40-page policy nobody reads.
A take-away playbook
Specific to your business: the use cases that matter for your team, the prompts and patterns that work, and what to do next.
An honest next-step view
If the session surfaces work worth automating properly, you'll know. If your team just needs practice, you'll know that too.
Who it's for
Teams starting from little or no AI experience. Owner-operators and their staff. Managers in larger organisations who need their people using AI well, safely, and consistently. Sessions work from a handful of people up to around thirty. Beyond that it stops being interactive, and interactive is the point.
Why me
Training is a discipline. I've practised it.
I've designed and delivered structured training in a large, complex organisation, where sessions had to work for mixed-ability groups and the material had to hold up in practice, not just on slides. I bring that same discipline to AI training: practical, structured, and built around your team's actual work.
And on the AI side, I'm a practitioner, not a presenter. I build AI tools for businesses: chat assistants, automation, data insights. I use these tools daily in my own work. What I teach comes from doing the work, not from a slide deck someone else wrote.
In the interest of honesty
Who this isn't for.
If you want a futurism talk about where AI is heading and what it means for humanity, this isn't that. It's a working session about your team's work.
If your organisation needs formal e-learning modules with completion certificates, I'm not the right provider.
And if anyone promises you AI will replace your admin team, be sceptical. That's not what I teach, because it's not what honestly happens. What happens is your existing team gets faster at the parts of their job that were eating their time.
Format and investment
Scoped, delivered, and followed up.
Scoping call
A short call to understand your team, their work, and what "going well with AI" would look like for you. The session gets built from this.
Tailored session
Half-day or full-day, in person (Wellington) or remote. Interactive, and built around your team's real tasks.
Playbook + check-in
A take-away playbook specific to your business, with an optional 30-day check-in to see what stuck and what needs reinforcing.
Half-day session
From $1,200 NZD
A focused session covering the highest-value use cases for your team, with the take-away playbook included.
Full-day session
From $2,000 NZD
Deeper coverage across more of your team's workflow, more depth, and worked examples drawn from your team's own tasks.
Fixed price confirmed after the scoping call. Larger groups or bespoke material quoted at scoping.
When training surfaces something bigger
Some work shouldn't be done by hand at all
Sessions often surface tasks worth automating properly: enquiries, follow-up, reporting. That's a build conversation, and it's the other half of what I do.
Get your team genuinely going with AI.
Book a scoping call. Tell me about your team and their work, and I'll tell you honestly whether a session would help, and what it would cover.
From $1,200 half-day / $2,000 full-day. In person (Wellington) or remote.
